Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I spent my childhood camping with my family, exploring tidepools, and learning from my late mom’s lifelong motto: “Why not?” The spirit of curiosity and adventure my mom inspired in me pushed me to embrace the outdoors across every season and eventually led me to find the world of action sports. Through this later introduction to adventure sports developed a deep passion for sharing these spaces with others, especially those who haven’t always felt welcomed or represented in them.
In 2019, I founded Shred‑it Sisters, a growing sisterhood of more than 3,000 women and gender‑diverse adventurers united by the belief that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space in nature. I’m also an event coordinator with SheJumps and a core member of AirTeam, a grassroots community working to break down barriers in snowsports for BIPOC athletes. Through these organizations, I often volunteer to document the events and talented women and BIPOC athletes who inspire me, allowing me to broaden my photography skills through meaningful work.
Photography became my tool for storytelling. A way to celebrate joy, strength, and identity while expanding the narrative of who belongs in the outdoors. Whether I’m capturing grassroots events, the energy of diverse athletes, or personal portraits meant to be treasured, my goal is always to make people feel genuinely seen. Through my work, I strive to create space for representation, empowerment, and possibility, helping the next generation dream bigger and see themselves reflected in the wild places we love. Let’s tell stories that move us forward and honor the beautiful diversity of this world.
